Just off the pale blue dot - if you squint really hard - there's Miriam. Floating through space.
They're not sure why, but NASA chose them to live here, and they accepted.
And as the temperatures rise on earth, Miriam is given a choice. Either remain on this mission alone, or transfer to a shiny private corporation to establish a new society.
