    Drag me to Communion (WIP)

    Weds 11th March 2026 at 9pm
    Tickets £10 (+ booking fee)
A drag-cabaret exploration of religion, Communion, interfaith marriage, divorce and the Bible.

Come to the Original Sin Cabaret hosted by Dick Hissington, that original sinning snake, with special guests Lilith, the first loose woman, Pope Innocent III, a bit of a stick in the mud, Sister Prudence and Sister Harmony, so full of nunsense, a surprise guest and of course our extra special Headliners: Ma and Grandma!

If you could talk to those who died before you could actually know them, would you like what they have to say? What would they think of who you have become? Would they think you were going to hell?

    Maybe.

Drag, cabaret, theatre and comedy come together to explore biblical themes and a three-generational story of relationships to faith, feminism, gender and family.

This is a work in progress showing. Feedback is welcome and appreciated.

"a 55-minute single-act master class on how to construct a comedic tale with a biting social commentary... Such is Cahn’s versatility as a performer that she convinces—this one moment, she’s this character, and the next, she’s that—all with only her voice "

Tobi King Bakare and this theatre deserve a shout-out for such a young, diverse audience. There is so much talk about audiences being full of over 60s and why, why can’t theatres get the crowds in to reflect society in general? Well, I’m happy to say that on a rainy Thursday evening, the theatre was completely full.
