One letter difference in our 23rd chromosome signifies female, if only were that simple. In a dystopian future, two femininities take us on a journey through the Alphabet of Womankind.

Ιn a dystopian future, the world as we know it no longer exists. Following the misuse of power and resources, the IOHI (International Organisation of Human Improvement), holds a competition, in order to select the femininity capable of saving Mankind’s deterioration. The two finalists, X1 and X2, will have to “fight” in order to be crowned, the “Saviour”. After various tasks given to them, the candidates will have to perform accordingly and win their place as the femininity responsible for carrying the weight of the future. The ceremony is interrupted by the awakened consciousness of these two femininities, coming to surface when they are given a question about L.O.V.E. A 26 chapter intervention will change the course of the competition, and will lead these two on a journey of self discovery, acceptance, hope and love. Using songs, poems, advertisements, folk tales and interviews, the play becomes a personal exploration on the female position in modern society, political scene and culture. A poetic commentary on the current situation in Europe and the political, social, cultural and economical scene of the past few years.
