Bubbly is a darkly funny pop musical about three sisters and their internal battles with self-image and identity. When they return to their family home for a fateful dinner, memories and trauma are resurfaced, and they must confront the insecurities that ultimately tie them together. This four-woman musical blends sharp humour with dynamic pop music and self-mythologising lyrics. A raw exposure of the clash between the body shaming of the nineties and the body positivity of today, it explores with radical honesty what it means to be both confident and shamed, careful and chaotic, angry and apathetic: to be multiple women all at once.
