The 80s and 90s in Camden saw racial tensions and clashes between young Bengalis and British teenagers at a high. But amidst the chaos, hope emerged.

Bengali Boys is a work-in-progress sharing and panel discussion that explores the complex history of Camden. Using a blend of interviews, archival footage and a live performance, Bengali Boys shares the triumphs, struggles, and resilient spirit of this diverse community.

From the streets to the stage, this interactive sharing explores Camden’s past, present and future.
