Rabbit Hole Ensemble is a new theatre-making collective founded by three female, first-generation migrant artists of multicultural background - Haiqing Liang, Maggie Zhang, and Yijing Chen. We were brought together by a shared curiosity about the nuances within human experience and a collective struggle to feel fully seen and heard. We want to tell stories often overlooked by society, in ways that are formally inventive and emotionally visceral. As a young company, we bring the courage to dream boldly, explore fearlessly, and embrace the idealism of venturing down the rabbit hole.
