Bunch of People is a new company excited by stories, thrives on collaboration and has curiosity at its heart. From small beginnings to epic multidisciplinary productions, it celebrates the collective artists working within each project responding to the voices of the people in the room, the times in which we live and the struggles that need unravelling. This emphasis on collective play, engagement and collaboration is part of the methodology Artistic Director, Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader Juliet Knight leads at UEL. Political, passionate and playful, Bunch of People is a company rooted in community activism, giving voice to invisible stories. Before establishing her company, Juliet has performed at The Globe, with DV8, and an ever expanding directing repertoire: Bitched (Kali Theatre), Zigger Zagger (Wilton’s Music Hall), Cardboard Dad (Theatre Cmyru), Prime Resident by Stella Duffy (Soho Theatre), White Boy by Tanika Gupta (Soho Theatre) and co-director of Projectonabus.
