  • Anya Ostrovskaia

    Anya Ostrovskaia is a London based director, born in Moscow into a family of Ukrainian Jews. Her complex identity and positionality in the world has meant her work is always explicitly political. Passionate about presenting narratives of freedom and justice in line with values rooted in solidarity and change-making through targeting the history of the USSR and War Crimes. Her work is interdisciplinary often spearheading projects in both film and theatre. Anya trained at Cambridge School of Art and Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
