It's 1938 and Liesl has fled Nazi Germany. With her sideboard, suitcase and sewing machine, she embarks on becoming an 'ortinerry Inklisch hausvyfe' in North London. A humorous, musical and topical new play adapted from Sophie Herxheimer's Sunday Times Poetry Book of The Year.
