Unpopular Culture is a funny and honest exploration of parenthood and aspirations, examining how to set realistic expectations for ourselves and our kids in a world that isn’t always fair or inclusive.
How do we encourage our children to follow their dreams if we struggled to follow our own? How will they cope with being a part of multiple cultures without belonging to any? What does a lack of representation do to our sense of worth, and how can we keep our children from inheriting that same feeling?
These serious questions unfold against a fun backdrop of song and dance: it’s theatre meets Mumsnet.
