"I've noticed that a lot the most revered and celebrated artists, particularly writers, they seem to be some of the most mentally f***** up people on the planet."

Young pub singer Lana stands outside the workplace on a busy Friday night. With nothing but a cigarette between her fingers and a sharp, candid mindset, she summons the courage to tell her tumultuous story on her own terms for the very first time. But at what cost?

"The Girl With The Glass Heart" is a one-woman play written and performed by a young creative that draws attention to the mental health of young people in today’s society. Vivacious, sweary, queer and sensitive, it promises to be an emotional rollercoaster of youthful humour, with references to revered female artists such as Sylvia Plath and Camden’s very own Amy Winehouse, and at its heart, a self-aware exploration of teenage angst.

"A great local theatre making a massive difference to the local community."

    Councillor Jonathan Simpson Camden Council
