The Daisy Chain is an informal review of the children's social care system in the UK. Written and performed by care-leaver Princess Bestman, playing the role of Asharn Prior, a troubled teenager who has been moved around so much by the system they have lost faith in the adults around them.

This show is a hip-hop-gig-theatre-ted-talk on all the ways it takes a village to raise a child, and how one person can break a cycle you didn't know you were chained to.

Meet Asharn Prior a trouble-making teenager turned independent young person. How did they do it? Who helped them and why? The Daisy Chain beautiful and provoking theatrical case study, looking at how children in the care system navigate labels and emotional regulation with the help - and hindrance - of the adults around them.

Discount for care experienced people: Use the promo code DAISY8 to get £8 tickets to the show on any night!

Seed commissioned and supported by CPT.
