‘Shall we just retire to the lake?’ is a satirical, glitzy, feminist, cabaret-dance-theatre duet. Using satire and humour, it makes a ridiculous display of outdated gender roles, explores ways in which we can subvert them, and offers new possibilities for us all to try on for size.
