The Black Smock Band's legendary LGBTQ+ singalongs have been building communities and solidarity since 2010 From living rooms and pubs to May Day celebrations and community spaces, the band unapologetically puts the woke into folk and invites everyone to join in. Expect a warm-up set from the band, followed by a mass singalong of resistance classics, from 'Bread and Roses' to 'Solidarity Forever'. Song sheets will be provided. There will also be a limited number of floor spots. If you have a song that fits the vibe, and you'd like to share it, get in touch with the band through this link.

Tobi King Bakare and this theatre deserve a shout-out for such a young, diverse audience. There is so much talk about audiences being full of over 60s and why, why can’t theatres get the crowds in to reflect society in general? Well, I’m happy to say that on a rainy Thursday evening, the theatre was completely full.
