AMBERSAND collective’s new show examines the realities of existing when it seems like everything is falling apart. Part autobiographical confession, part exploration of the human condition: what does it mean to exist right now? Can we create space for joy in the midst of global crises? Is there a point in even trying?
With elements of audience participation and community building, this show is designed to create a shared space for courage in the face of disaster. It often feels as though the world has more questions than answers, more water than land and more tickets than seats. We are stuck, you are stuck. What do we do next? Are there any solutions? Does theatre help? We’ll see but we can’t promise that it will. Sorry.
The staging of the show is in the round, and limited chairs will be provided to people who have access needs. If you need a chair, please email us in advance about your requirement: ambersandcollective@gmail.com
This performance is part of Form(at) Festival: 2022 | Back in the Room, celebrating work made by students on MA:ATP (Advanced Theatre Practice) at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
"It is precisely these types of projects, involving these types of people, in these types of theatres that make London what it is."
