GOALS is a devised performance, an R&D and workshop series-generated absurd and crooked satire, a physical research on one's own and society-set goals, the struggle to reach them, the pain of scoring and not-scoring those goals and the times when one could or should choose the happiness of 'now' over the upcoming treadmill burnout.
"Ever since R was three and his daycare friends convinced him to attack a fellow-child, the supposedly demon-possessed Jimmy, R's life has been one inconvenience after another. As if his life was always about being in a wrong place at a wrong time. When R is queuing at McDonalds' and his partner calls that the promotion must be put on hold as they have an unwanted baby on the way, it's as if the universe was knocking R down and politely asking him to stay down. Forever.
