“Up until very recently, I have felt that I can't talk to my father about anything”.

In September 2019 Theo interviewed Dom. Dom is 24 now. He thought about killing himself every day for a number of years. He didn’t talk to his Dad. He didn’t talk to his mates. Dom is Theo’s best friend. For Dom is a thirty-minute autobiographical solo performance piece. Using verbatim audio footage from two interviews, Theo weaves together a story of friendship, adolescence and suicidal thoughts.

For Dom is Theo’s second solo performance at CPT, having performed 500 Metres as part of SPRINT festival in March 2020, just before the world collapsed.

“It means so much to be working at CPT, it’s such a good opportunity to work in a professional environment at my age. I didn’t think that was ever going to happen and it means the world to me. It’s really going to help prepare me for my future and where I want to go”
