This page is about Remix Dance. A free weekly service that provides street dance sessions.
Remix Dance (previously Mix It) was created by Mia Nicastro and Mariam Hassan who have worked with local children form the Regent's Park Estate for the last 12 years, providing free, weekly street dance sessions.
Each year the children have worked towards a show, hosted in professional local venues New Diorama Theatre and Camden People's Theatre, as well as multiple community performances including at Camden Mela and other local festivals.
In addition to improving health and wellbeing, this project brings together the community with a real emphasis in engaging the whole family, attending sessions and getting involved in performances and more.
As well as nurturing talent, Remix develops their young people through trips, workshops and employment opportunities, particularly through their partnership with Regent's Place.
CPT has partnered with Regent’s Place to support Remix Dance.
