  • Tolmer's Square FREE Arts Festival 2023!

    Image:

Get ready for a free arts festival in the heart of Tolmer’s Square, Camden (NW1), hosted by Camden People's Theatre!

    Saturday 1st July 3.30pm - 6.30pm.

There'll be thrilling live performances from a variety of acts! Our programme includes hilarious clowning with Julia Masli, dramatic fire performance with Dave Williams, playful theatre with Emergency Chorus and their collective of Town Cryers, mind-blowing bubble art from Maxwell the Bubbleologist, beautiful Cantonese children's theatre with Little Bean Theatre, and impressive beatboxing with our host Conrad and the hip-hop theatre collective Beats and Elements.

We'll also have try-it-out sessions for the audience. Ever wanted to try your hand at beatboxing? Or clowning? Now is your chance. Come along!

There will be free food and drink, giant games, music, face painting, and more: fun for all ages.

We'll also be having a photo competition: we are inviting the audience to take a snap of their favourite moment and tag us on Instagram @camdenpeoplestheatre with the hashtags #CommunityAtCPT and #TolmersSquareFestival. Two lucky winners will be shared on our profile and will each receive four free tickets each to their choice of Camden People's Theatre shows in our Autumn 2023 season! (Please note that the autumn season is subject to availability at the time of booking, but we have lots programmed!) We can't wait to see your pictures.

Audiences can watch from around the square where there will be seating available. The Tolmer's Square residents are also invited to watch from their windows and balconies. This will be a true celebration of culture and coming together.

The festival will be BSL interpreted and will have wheelchair access. For further information on accessibility or with any other questions, please contact the Camden People's Theatre Community Engagement Manager, Bex Gordon, at bex@cptheatre.co.uk!
