BE SEEN | BE CREATIVE | TAKE UP SPACE

These sessions are an extension of an Arts Council funded project that enabled Bulwell (Nottingham) based Queer, Disabled and neurodivergent adults to come together through co-creation creative sessions.

As part of the session, we will open the space for anyone to share something that is on their mind as a Queer, neurodivergent and/or Disabled person. Please be mindful of providing trigger warnings and be aware that this is not a therapeutic space but rather a chance to share an experience with like-minded people to feel seen and less alone.  Mostly, the space is light and fun, but we want to hold space for the variety of our lived experiences. If you are affected by anything from the session or would like to seek support, Mind Out has compiled this Wellbeing Resource. https://drive.google.com/file/d/133x84o1bxW5W_taoW-VdkRzEZVP_XSzL/view?usp=sharing

"Thank you for letting me join Queerdos tonight! It was lots of fun – confession, it’s the first time I’ve socialised since October 2024 (I haven’t left my home since the failed bladder pacemaker surgeries and lost university at the same time). It was so n"

"Our children live in the most deprived ward in London and their parents cannot afford to pay for the classes and activities many more privileged children enjoy after school and at the weekends. A free-to-access youth group run by a local theatre in a professional setting is an incredible opportunity."
