  • Every Body Community Day

    Sun 22nd June 1pm - 5pm
    Tickets Free (no booking required)
Free Community Day at Camden People's Theatre

Join us for a community day planned by the local steering group as part of the Every Body festival at Camden People's Theatre. Join us for our inclusive community day, featuring a quiet space, sensory-based workshops, and a British Sign Language (BSL) session. Come and connect with others or spend some time to yourself in our community space. All adults are welcome! Snacks and drinks will be provided.

    Interactive Art Workshop:

Get creative and co-create an art piece together, using a range of materials from paint to collage! The art will respond to themes of 'every-body' and what that means to you. Drop in throughout the day to add to our community art piece in a relaxed atmosphere. Take a moment to unwind and connect with the senses by making art together.

    Sensory soundscape workshop:

Take a moment away from the busy city to unwind in the sounds of nature. In this playful and meditative workshop, we’ll journey through nature using sound and imagination. You’ll co-create soundscapes inspired by jungles, oceans, caves and more, using your voice and body. It’s a chance to unwind, awaken your senses, and find calm through collective creativity.

"Our children live in the most deprived ward in London and their parents cannot afford to pay for the classes and activities many more privileged children enjoy after school and at the weekends. A free-to-access youth group run by a local theatre in a professional setting is an incredible opportunity."
