  • Nathalie Ellis-Einhorn


    Nathalie Ellis-Einhorn (creator/performer) is a theatre maker, writer, and performer. She holds an undergraduate degree from Princeton University, where she was awarded the Alan S. Downer, Frances LeMoyne Page, and Suzanne B. Huffman prizes for her original theatre work. She completed her MA in Advanced Theatre Practice at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She has presented her work, which The Huffington Post called “courage[ous] and honest,” at New York venues including Dixon Place, The Tank, The PIT, The Duplex, Theatre for the New City, and The Brick Theater. She co-founded Gash Theatre in 2020 and created three original productions with this company that ran with The Tank, Camden People’s Theatre, Theatre Deli, and Assembly Festival for Edinburgh Fringe 2021 & 2022. Gash's work has been selected for BroadwayWorld UK's Best of 2021 list and as a finalist for the Offie Awards. More information and review quotes can be found at www.elliseinhorn.com

    Filmic theatre centred on Shelley Duvall, The Shining, and gore. Duvall’s “inconvenient” emotionality sets me veering between burlesque routines, buckets o’ blood, & the terror/joy of becoming the blob.
