  • Cheryl May Ndione


    Cheryl May Ndione is a Writer, Founder of youth theatre organisation Purple Moon Drama, and a Coach. Her 2019 play Black Beth was longlisted for the Verity Bargate Award and Shortlisted and Highly Commended for the Tony Craze Award. Her one- woman show, Apple, now For The Love Of A Primary Caregiver, debuted at VAULT Festival in February 2020 and re-appeared at The Pleasance in May 2021. She is an alumni of Soho Writer’s Lab, Tamasha’s Writing Group, and is currently and Associate Artist at Nouveau Riche.

    For The Love Of A Primary Caregiver

    Rosemary is about to do a speech at her mother’s wedding. She’s not quite sure how to hit the right note as the relationship between Rosemary and her mother has been... less- than- rosy. As latent thoughts and feelings bubble to the surface, we realise maybe the apple hasn’t fallen very far from the tree.
